Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
